Based in Girvan, Farmer Alex Melville has been noticing local impacts of climate change. He insists that the land is becoming drier, while the fresh water springs are beginning to slow. With less water becoming available, farmers will struggle to nourish their crops effectively, which could lead to food shortages in the future. With a growing global population, we need more food than ever before, so it is essential that we tackle this problem through regulating planetary temperature.
